the coded wall
September 27th, 2008
‘The Coded Wall’ is an interactive digital art project that explores new modes of live interaction made possible by combining high speed computing with a camera and projector. The work consists of a number of short dynamic projections which respond to shadows - so you can get in front of the projector and have a play!
The piece was originally exhibited during August 2008 in the Moving Image Gallery as part of the SALA Festival. The audience response was fantastic and we received a high commendation in the Bunka Moving Image Award.
‘The Coded Wall’ was built with proce55ing software and represents two months of collaborative work by Kirstin Wache and George Campbell at make&do studio.
