imagine the night sky

May 9th, 2010

Our latest work is a pair of interactive projections commissioned by the Adelaide Festival Centre for an exhibition named ‘Imagine the Night Sky’ held in the Artspace Gallery. The exhibition is aimed at primary school children and explores stories from around the world relating to night and day, the sun, the moon and the stars.

The first projection was shadow-interactive and let viewers use their shadows to play a harp and jiggle the strings of two baboon ‘puppets’. The second projection was sound-interactive and let viewers control the flight of a bee or wake an owl by whistling or blowing into a microphone.

Imagine the Night Sky is open Tues-Sat 10am-3pm from 1st - 29th May 2010 at Artspace Gallery at the Adelaide Festival Centre. Free entry.

We’re now past the half-way point of Fringe 09 and our exhibition of ‘the coded wall’ has attracted many visitors, some from as far away as France and Belgium.
